John West Group    - line up

Here are the members of the John West Group during our residency at
the "High Pine Club" in Weybridge.
We were the resident band at the Club for nine years from 1964 until 1973.

Musicians:

John West - Vibes and Alto Sax. Bob Davenport - Guitar & Vocals
Laurie Fincham - Bass. Dave Fowler - Drums. Ron Dawes - Piano
By this time we were quite sophisticated and even smart?.

We were playing George Shearing style material
similar to our George Shearing tribute CD.
We also had to play all the current hit parade stuff that was popular at the time.
We were also playing at the Club most Wednesdays and Fridays for private functions.

on the band's regular Saturday Night Dinner Dance gig at the Club.
